The sole unit uses Nylon reinforced with Carbon, achieving a balance of stiffness, 8 out of 12 on Gaerne's stiffness rating, and flexibility to soak up small bump vibrations and excellent walkability off the bike. Not only does the Michelin rubber trad afford excellent traction, but it's also durable too and the wide tread pattern sheds mud well too.
