Vitus E-Substance Carbon Gravel eBike (Rival)

The E-Substance Carbon Rival features a full-carbon frameset equipped with a Fazua Ride 50 Trail electric drive unit and a fast-shifting SRAM Rival 1x11-Speed groupset with a wide-ranging 10-42T cassette and powerful hydraulic disc brakes. Vitus has also equipped it with Tubeless Ready Prime Kanza wheels wrapped in Maxxis Rambler 650b tyres.

Fazua Ride 50 Trail Electric Motor Drive

Whether embarking on a bikepacking trip, gravel ride or simply staying light for a mixed-terrain local loop, the E-Substance is capable of adapting to suit your ride. At its core, a lightweight carbon frame and fork are tuned for comfort on long days and across varied surfaces, aided by the compact Fazua electric drive system with three assistance levels up to 250 watts. The latest top-tube controller lets you easily manage performance and with everything cleanly integrated, the Substance retains its modern look. Paired with SRAM’s smooth Rival 1X drivetrain, the frame is also compatible with 700c or 650b wheels, so you can fine-tune the setup to best fit where you are riding. For tough rides where water, food and spares might be hard to come by, rack mounts enable you to load up with whatever’s required to reach the next supply point.

This isn’t simply about the same cliches of getting off the beaten track or going in search of the road less travelled, because the E-Substance is more than a gravel or adventure bike.
