Combining the legendary brain protection system MIPS with hard-as-nails Koroyd® technology brings a new level of protection to Smith’s range thanks to the Trace Helmet. But, while you get the advantages of reduced rotational motion and energy absorption with these additions, the amazing thing is that none of this affects the weight or aerodynamic performance of the headwear, which is still as top notch as you expect. Internal channels and exhaust ports allow the air to simply move through you, cooling and wicking sweat away from the body at the same time. The Trace also features full sunglasses integration, with an AirEvac system in place to help prevent fogging for clear vision all the way.

Koroyd® provides superior impact absorption, design flexibility and ventilation when compared to materials used in traditional helmet construction such as EPS. By utilizing crumple-zone cylinders that crush uniformly on impact. Koroyd® manages energy more efficiently with less volume than any other protection material on the market. Unlike traditional protection materials, Koroyd® cylinders absorb and convert more kinetic energy, whilst increasing air flow and reducing overall weight. Not all helmets are equal.
