Descrizione

The large, well-spaced blocks that run along the centreline of the Maxxis Assegai EXO+ mountain bike (MTB) tyre enhance traction and reduce rolling resistance, while the angled shoulder lugs provide expert handling when cornering and braking. EXO+ puncture protection adds another level of durability and strength to this impressive MTB tyre.

Technologies:

EXO+: EXO+ construction combines two of our best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer runs from bead-to-bead with a layer of EXO along the sidewalls.

3CT Compound: The 3C MaxxTerra component is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, but provides better tread wear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.

TR (Tubeless Ready) Technology: Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tyre without the weight penalty. Their TR tyres use a standard casing and require the use of a liquid sealant in order to make them airtight. Maxxis Tubeless Ready tyres are the only Maxxis tyres approved for use with liquid sealants.
