Mavic Cosmic Elite UST Disc Road Wheelset

This road bike wheelset features a 30mm deep aero aluminium rim construction, which allows it to deliver added speed and efficiency for sprints and solo riding. Coming kitted out with an easy to use UST Road Tubeless system, it rolls faster and smoother with a reduced risk of punctures. Mavic has also engineered this model specifically for disc brakes with steel-bladed straight-pull spokes that are stronger than traditional J-bend spokes and connected to its strongest hub platform running on smooth QRM bearings.

Tubeless-Ready Road Bike Wheelset

By removing the tube, Mavic also removed friction from this model, so there’s less rolling resistance, which means it requires less energy to reach higher speeds. Its UST system, including the sealant that makes the tyres more resistant to punctures, is also 40g lighter than a traditional tube and tyre system. The alloy rim also benefits from the brand's unrivalled experience in creating light, yet strong rim extrusions. Mavic does this by carefully tuning the thickness of the rim wall to hit the sweet spot between stiffness, strength and weight.

Wind Tunnel Tested

Mavic's extensive wind tunnel testing led its team to create a 30mm deep rim that optimises aero performance, while also improving this wheelset's stability in crosswinds. Pedalling torque is also further improved with its ID360 freewheel system that's light, smooth, stiff and easy to service.

Warranty Information
Starting with Model Year 2021 products, Mavic offers a lifetime guarantee for selected wheelsets. This guarantee applies only to the original owner when they have been registered within 2 months of their purchase.

Mavic's aluminium wheels (this version) and all its other products are covered by the 2-year legal guarantee. This warranty is extendable to 3 years for aluminium wheels, helmets and Comete Ultimate shoes when the product has been registered within 2 months of its purchase.

These warranties cover material and manufacturing defects that would appear during normal use of the product with the exception of "wear" parts. All the information on how to register comes inside the box.

Crash Replacement Program
Mavic recognise that accidents can occur and are aware of what your investment in your bicycle equipment means as well as the frustration of breaking your equipment during a fall. If your product has been registered within 2 months of purchase, Mavic offer to replace it with an identical or equivalent product according to the following tariff schedule:

- 50% off the public price recommended by Mavic for wheels with less than 2 years of use.

- 40% off the public price recommended by Mavic for wheels with between 2 and 5 years of use.

- 30% of the public price recommended by Mavic for wheels with between 6 and 10 years of use.
