The Carbon G. SNX Shoes are Gaerne's premium off-road cycling shoes. So whether you get your kicks from fast and technical XC trail loops, the crunchy fun of gravel rides or the lung-busting efforts of an hour of cyclocross, these are the shoes for you. 

A lightweight microfibre upper provides the snug and supple fit you need for a comfortable ride. Laser perforations also increase ventilation, improving breathability and maintaining a stable micro-climate inside. Anti-abrasion zones also boost durability when taking on tough terrain.

Firm Foot Support

The Carbon G. SNX Shoes offer impressive support for your foot during the whole pedal stroke. This is in no small part thanks to the combination of Gaerne's  Anatomic Heel Cup 1.0 and Tarsal Support System 1.0. 

The Anatomic Heel Cup 1.0 provides firm support across the heel area and an anti-slip treatment prevents heel lift. This is complemented by the Tarsal Support System 1.0, which maintains the ideal foot position within the shoe. Together they allow for an efficient pedal stroke and unmatched power transmission. 

You also benefit from the EPS Comfort insole. The anatomical shape offers support and comfort, while perforations are used to regulate temperature.

EPS Carbon Power MTB Sole 10.0

Combining Gaerne's proven Carbon sole technology with Michelin's grip know-how, the EPS Carbon Power MTB Sole 10.0 gives smooth, efficient power transfer on the bike and confident traction over any terrain.

The sole unit uses carbon fibre to achieve 10 out of 12 on the Gaerne stiffness rating, ensuring optimal power transfer. However, there's also some tuned flexibility to soak up small bump vibrations and give excellent walkability off the bike.

The Michelin rubber tread affords excellent traction and it's durable too. The wide tread pattern sheds mud well and toe studs can be added should you be facing particularly muddy run-ups - ideal for winter cyclocross races.

BOA Li2 Precision Fit

With 2 BOA Li2 dials, the Carbon G. SNX Shoes can be adjusted effortlessly to your preference. The two low-profile dials allow separate adjustments to the upper and lower part of your foot, increasing comfort and security when pedalling. Twist. Adjust. Ride. 

With slim lacing, air circulation to the feet is also uncompromised and hence greater comfort in warm weather.  Boa Technology also guarantees the reels and the cables of the BOA closing system for the entire useful life of the product.

The BOA dials work with the InFit Closure System. This gives a total of six fixing zones through which the Boa laces run. This ensures a smooth application of pressure, spread across your whole foot. 

Cleat Guidance

These shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use the 2-bolt cleat standard (SPD standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB.
