Zipp’s 302 Carbon Clincher Front Road Wheel is constructed from a carbon fibre that’s produced in Zipp’s very own factory, ensuring they have complete control of the manufacturing process. The 45mm deep section rim has been designed to minimise aerodynamic drag and improve handling and stability, meaning Zipp’s 302 front wheel offers you the ride quality that Zipp wheels are known and loved for, but at a more attainable price point.
The 302 is hand assembled to Zipp’s 76 front hub, Sapim CX Sprint J-bend spokes, and Sapim External Brass Secure Lock nipples. This provides a wheel that is fast and reliable, light enough to use on the longest climbs and tough enough to ride on spring classics and poor road surfaces.
The end caps on Zipp’s 76 front hub can be simply removed by hand for ease of cleaning and lubrication and as J-bend spokes have been used, sourcing replacements will be easy too. Riding speed isn’t the only thing that’s fast about this wheel, Zipp’s specially designed rim bed means tyres can be changed in seconds rather than minutes!
