The North Face Vectiv Fastpack Mid Futurelight Shoes

The North Face's VECTIV™ Fastpack Mid FUTURELIGHT™ Shoes combine the durability of a hiking boot with the light weight of a casual trail trainer. Fully waterproof and breathable thanks to the unique FUTURELIGHT™ membrane, they protect against challenging wet conditions, while the VECTIV™ technology and Surface Control™ rubber outsole propel you forward even on varied terrain. For comfort, you can rely on a moulded collar and toe cap alongside a high-rebound EVA midsole and OrthoLite® X55™ footbed, all of which work together to optimise cushioning and support. Additionally, the 3D TPU plate under the forefoot helps with multi-directional stability, so you can be ready for any surface. 

What is FUTURELIGHT™?

Unlike conventional membranes, the nano structure of the FUTURELIGHT™ membrane allows air to pass through for better venting and breathability without sacrificing water-resistance and durability.

This nano-fibre structure has enabled The North Face to create its most lightweight, breathable, and sustainable membrane to date. An ultra-thin, nimble membrane that feels just as comfortable and provides the protection needed against the elements in the harshest environments. 

The production method for FUTURELIGHT™ also uses less chemicals and water than traditional methods.
