XT M8000 Disc Brake
Shimano's XT M8000 Disc Brake is powerful and fully-bled to deliver phenomenal stopping power in all conditions. The fully-bled lever and caliper comes without adapters or rotors, which gives you the freedom to customise your bike for the ideal riding experience. Its short stroke Servo-Wave mechanism for quick pad engagement, allows you to ride as aggressively and powerfully as the trail demands. Furthermore, a shim-less mounting system means the installation and setup process is quick and easy. Additionally, it comes complete with oversized 22mm twin phenolic pistons which have been optimised to save weight, insulate from heat and deliver a stiff MTB stopping performance.

XTR RT99 Ice Tech Rotor
This superb rotor provides consistent braking performance through effective energy management. By using a revolutionary 3-layer sandwich construction of stainless steel and alloy construction that manages heat while riding. Furthermore, its clad steel/alloy/steel rotor construction allows heat generated from braking to radiate quickly through its aluminium core achieving surface temperature drops of around 50°C. Finally, when used with Ice-Tech pads surface temperatures can drop from around 400 to 300°C, this Shimano disc rotor provides great improvements in braking performance.

FREEZA rotors allow the alloy core to extend out from the braking surface as a fin to providing added cooling
