MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)
The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.
Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.

Fit and Forget
Complementing the MIPS® technology is a BOA® FS1-1 360-degree fit system, a simple twist of a dial gives you unrivalled control of the fit of the helmet and ensures there's no movement when you're whipping table-tops or crushing trail features at speed.
When you're building up some heat on the ride to the top you'll also be more than happy with the silicone sweat-wicking brow pad and Oakley's X-Static®, using silver to combat bacteria build-up, leaving you free from eye-stinging sweat and a fresh feel, even after a full day on the hill. With a unique eyewear stowing system, you can also confidently remove your sunnies without worrying about where to stash them on your person.
