With bitter cold temperatures and maybe even snow lining roads and trails, the Nordic 2 Windproof Deep Winter Lobster Gloves provide the warmth and comfort needed to enjoy your deep winter cycling adventures.
Starting with the outside, this is 100% windproof material (90% recycled), preventing wind chill. It's also highly breathable, preventing sweat build-up. A PFC-free durable water-resistant (DWR) coating also resists misty murky weather conditions.
Next comes the cold-weather insulation from market-leading Primaloft™. Across the palm, low bulk, high warmth Primaloft™ Gold is used. 100% recycled, it traps body heat even when compressed. Meanwhile, the back of the gloves features Primaloft Gold Active+ (55% recycled material). This offers the finest deep winter insulation with an exceptionally high warmth-to-weight ratio.
The deep winter insulation sits between the windproof outer and soft fleece inner. The 100% recycled soft fleece lining is eco-friendly and offers instant comfort and warmth.
GripGrab have also added an anti-odour treatment to the lining. This maintains fresh hands and makes your gloves pleasant to wear ride after ride. An added benefit is less need for regular washing, improving lifespan and lowering their lower environmental impact compared to gloves that need washing after every ride.
Moving to the palm, you'll find a durable synthetic suede. This has strategically positioned pads to ease pressure and soak up the lumps and bumps of winter roads and trails. A silicone grip pattern also inspires greater confidence in handlebar grip and bike control.
The lobster gloves design, separating the forefinger, gives excellent dexterity for easy braking and gear shifting on both road and MTB levers. Both thumb and forefinger are also touchscreen-compatible, letting you answer your phone or take a photo without removing your gloves.
Reflective detailing is included on the outer side of the gloves to help enhance your visibility in low light conditions and make hand gestures more prominent in urban traffic.
