Garmin’s Swim 2 comes with the integrated heart rate monitoring system, Elevate. The advanced technology measures heart rate from the wrist 24/7. Specially adapted the heart rate monitor is fully functional for underwater use. You can check in with your heart rate with a quick glance at the watch face which shows, in real time, your average and max values.

Pool and Open Water

Built-in GPS will keep you tracked wherever you’re swimming – in the pool or during outdoor swims. The watch, using GPS, will record distance, pace, stroke count, stroke rate, stroke distance and SWOLF score to gage your swimming performance in the pool, lake, ocean or river.

Advanced Swimming Features

The Swim 2 is packed full of incredible swimming features. The Critical Swim Speed approximates your anaerobic threshold speed which you can use to guide your training and track your progress. Additionally, there are turn-based pacing alerts that keep you on track towards meeting your goals. Drill logging provides enhanced drill tracking – showing your time and distance for drills such as kicking, one-arm swimming, or sculling drills. You can also track your rest times with two different types of rest timers.

The slim and lightweight activity tracker construction has been specifically tailored for not holding you back in the water. The screen is easy to read, even in murky water and low-lighting conditions, with always-on, full-colour Garmin Chroma Display technology that makes it easy to read, even in direct sunlight. The five-button interface makes it easy to start workouts, view different data, log drills or change your settings without the water interfering.

Connectivity

Stay connected while you’re hitting the water with smart connected features. Easily pair the Swim 2 to your compatible smartphone to receive your phone’s notifications straight to the display screen. Additionally, this connection allows you to automatically upload to the Garmin Connect online community where you can compete, share your swim data with coaches, workout buddies or friends and family.

Not only does the Swim 2 keep track of your performance in the water but it can also be used throughout your day, out of the water. The watch offers advanced wellness monitoring and fitness tracking on dry land. You can track your stress and sleep which helps swimmers monitor their overall health. Stay active throughout your average day when you can’t get to the pool or the lake with step tracking, body battery monitoring, and keep calm with guided breather exercises. You can track other forms of training including cycling and running.
