Using their waterproof and highly breathable Schloss Tex 3L softshell fabric, Assos have made sure rain is kept out while sweat won't hang around to cause you discomfort. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment is also applied as an extra line of defence and taped seams at the front, shoulders, rear panels, and zippers enhance water-tightness.

When it comes to trail-riding mobility and being able to move and react to varying levels of grip and navigate tricky MTB trail features, the TRAIL Steinbeisser won't let you down. Tailored with Assos' trailFit, the cut is slim to avoid snagging on trailside branches and boulders but it follows the body's movements so you never feel restricted, in or out of the saddle.

Trail-ready mountain bike features include the dropped tail to protect against tyre spray, a helmet-compatible hood, with helmet strap pass-through, to pull up when conditions are particularly bad and a double-slider front zip to allow you to easily ventilate from the top or the bottom as needs must. Lastly, extended 'Flex-Cuffs' allow full wrist mobility and integrate well with winter gloves so you always have confident control of your mountain bike.
