In order to offer optimal wet-weather protection for your legs, the MILLE GT Thermo Rain Shell Pants use Assos' renowned windproof-waterproof NEOS Ultra. This 2-layer softshell makes use of a PU bonded membrane, providing windproof-waterproof protection. Breathability is also excellent, preventing clamminess when you're turning up the effort levels.
A slightly thicker 3-layer NEOS Mild is used for the lower third of the pants, enhancing protection from cold and wet road spray.
Fit to Ride
To give you a smooth and comfortable fit at the waist, Assos have borrowed the smooth-wrap AZPtech waist design as found on their off-road TRAIL pants. This removes the bulk of fasteners while a silicone gripper also ensures a firm but flexible fit minus any pressure or pinching. It's also slightly taller to the back for added protection and a seamless fit with your under-layers.
Hems are also raw-cut for a smooth, pressure-free fit while the knicker-length construction works well with tall rainproof overshoes. Reflective bands circling the lower leg also keep you more visible as light levels fade.
