The Compact Exp 10 SL comes with a women’s specific fit because Deuter did some pretty hefty research and came to the conclusion that, on average, women’s backs are not quite as long as men’s. Meanwhile when wearing a rucksack they realised the importance of using a well fitted bag to ensure a stabilised positioning and long term comfort. Therefore Deuter have introduced the SL range of rucksacks that are slightly shorter complimenting the average size of women’s backs.
To ensure even further levels of comfort and stabilisation the rucksack comes with multiple straps that are all fully adjustable so that you can find the perfect fit for you. The shoulder straps and sternum strap can be fully height adjusted and the hip belt can also be lengthened or tightened around your hips.
The Compact Exp rucksack comes with Deuter’s Airstripes system integrated into the back panel of the bag. The system provides a cushioned comfort to your back with specialised meshing ergonomically positioned where you need it most. The meshing also provides heightened ventilation which keeps your back cool even when you’re at your most active.
